Dr. Donna Huryn, a graduate of the Penn Chemistry doctoral program, will be returning to Penn this summer as a full-time Professor of Practice. These roles were introduced at Penn to allow he addition to the faculty of distinguished, highly experienced individuals who have achieved success in their fields and whose skills and knowledge are essential to the educational process at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
After a career in the pharmaceuticals industry, Donna moved to the University of Pittsburgh where she held several positions, including Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences and a PI of the University of Pittsburgh Chemical Diversity Center (UP-CDC). Donna has served an Adjunct Professor in the Chemistry Department since 2005.
