This course will provide an introduction to methods and applications of contemporary biochemical techniques and instrumentation used for analysis of biomolecules, including proteins, DNA/RNA and metabolites. Topics covered will include chromatographic and electrophoresis, mass spectrometry, fluorescence microscopy for the detection, characterization and structural analysis of proteins, antibodies and nucleic acids. The course will focus on Essential Practical NMR for Chemistry.
